Spend select summer Friday evenings at Thistlethwaite Vineyards during the First Friday Car Cruises, held alongside Food Truck Fridays from 5pm to 8pm. From classics to modern rides, all vehicles are welcome at this relaxed gathering featuring live music, scenic vineyard views, delicious food trucks, and refreshing wine, wine slushies, and beer in a peaceful countryside setting. Cruise-In for Veterans | June 20
Brooks-Crago American Legion Post 816
Celebrate veterans and America’s 250th Anniversary at the American Legion Post 816’s 9th Annual Cruise-In for Veterans. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors are all welcome at this patriotic showcase benefiting RWB DOG TAGS and its Rescue Dogs to Service Dogs for Veterans initiative.
Enjoy music from a live DJ, dress in vintage attire for the Pinup Contest with awards at 2:30pm, and stay for car show prize presentations at 3pm. LEARN MORE
After the event, make a weekend of it and visit historic Rices Landing. Riverfest at the Rices Landing Lockwall runs from 2pm to 10pm and features live music, food, beverages, family fun, and a grand fireworks display at 9pm. The W.A. Young & Sons Foundry and Machine Shop will have guided tours most Sundays and select Saturdays, and the scenic Greene River Trail and Pumpkin Run Park are perfect for unwinding after the car show.

4th of July Celebration & Car Show | July 4
Waynesburg Lions Club Park
Celebrate Independence Day at the Waynesburg Lions Club’s July 4th Celebration, highlighted by the 20th Annual Car Show from noon to 3pm. Classic and custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles are all welcome at this popular holiday showcase hosted by the Waynesburg Lions Club.
The day begins with a 7am pancake breakfast at the Greene County Fairgrounds. During the car show, enjoy free wagon rides by Rocky Ridge Acres, then stick around for the 6:30pm Little Miss Firecracker Pageant, an evening performance by the Part Time Cowboys, and one of the area’s largest fireworks displays.

Freedom Car Show | July 11

The VFW Post 4793 Auxiliary Freedom Car Show welcomes all cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles for a patriotic day of fun and community. Enjoy a lively Pin-Up Contest featuring The Victory Dolls, along with delicious food available for purchase from local food trucks and the VFW’s famous roasted chickens.
This event supports local veterans, with all proceeds benefiting veteran nonprofit programs. Awards will be announced at 2:15pm.

The Ice Plant’s Annual Car Show | July 25

Before the event, get fueled up for the long day at Hartley Inn in Carmichaels. After the event, watch the parade traveling through Carmichaels if you choose not to participate, and head over to the fire department that evening to enjoy the last day of the annual Bituminous King Coal Show.

50s Fest & Car Cruise | September 12

Downtown Waynesburg is blocked to through traffic, and we take over the town! Step back in time at the 25th Annual ‘50s Fest in downtown Waynesburg, where the streets are closed to traffic and the whole town transforms into a lively throwback celebration. Enjoy all-day ‘50s music, great food, and nonstop fun, including bubble gum blowing and hula hoop contests.
Dress in your best ‘50s style and bring your ride—cars, trucks, and motorcycles are all welcome. Food will be available for purchase throughout the event. LEARN MORE

Enjoy a nostalgic summer afternoon in Mt. Morris at the 22nd Annual Mt. Morris Volunteer Fire Department Car Show, where classic rides shine to the sounds of ‘50s and ‘60s music. This relaxed, rain-or-shine event brings together cars and trucks of all kinds for a true community showcase.
