Heroes & Helpers Night at the Park brings the community together Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 4–7 p.m. at Wana B Park in Carmichaels for a free, family-friendly evening celebrating the heroes and helpers who strengthen and support the community. Coordinated by the Greene County Crisis Intervention Team, the event highlights local first responders, human services organizations and community resources.

Meet local police, fire, EMS and other first responders, explore resource tables, and learn about services available to individuals and families throughout the community. The evening will also feature free activities for kids of all ages, music, games, entertainment and more.

Resource tables will provide information about employment and job support, disability services, housing and basic needs assistance, health and wellness programs, and other community resources. Come out to explore, play, connect with local organizations, and show your appreciation for the people who help keep Greene County safe, healthy and supported. Everyone is welcome!
