The Buoniconti Fund Half Marathon / 10K / 5K / Kids Dash comes to Carmichaels on Sunday, October 18, 2026, offering runners, walkers and wheelchair participants the opportunity to take part in a new community race event along the Monongahela River. The inaugural race features a Half Marathon for ages 16 and older, along with a 10K for ages 16 and older, 5K for ages 12 and older, and a Kids’ Dash for ages 3–11.

Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, enjoy a run or walk with friends, or cheer on young participants, the event welcomes people of a variety of ages and abilities. The race begins and ends at Jessop Boat Club, 134 River Lane in Carmichaels, with the first race starting at 9 a.m.

Proceeds from the event support The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis and research through The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Participants can register online to take part in the inaugural race and help support the cause.
