Waynesburg Lions Club Park

A 21-acre park with pavilions, a little league ball field, and playground area. The outdoor amphitheater holds free music concerts on Tuesday evenings beginning in June and concluding in September. LEARN MORE

Greene River Trail

12 miles from campus to Rices Landing Trailhead or 17 miles from campus to Jessop Boat Club Trailhead

A 7-mile trail that runs adjacent to the Upper Monongahela Water Trail providing a tranquil view of the river for its users. The trail was designed to accommodate walking, jogging, and bicycling on smooth crushed gravel. LEARN MORE

Mason-Dixon Historical Park

20 miles from campus

The 295-acres of meadow and woodland stretch across the state line commemorating the great achievement of Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon. Hike to the top of Brown’s Hill to find the last marker set by Mason and Dixon that officially ended their survey in 1767. Cornerstone Genealogical Society

Preserving the documented history of Greene County. The centerpiece of the collection is 2,000 family histories augmented by over 1,700 surname files of correspondence and miscellaneous documents. The library is attached to Greene County’s 1797 restored Log Courthouse. LEARN MORE
