Visit the Bowlby Library on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd to learn about one of Waynesburg’s key landmarks: the Denny House. Originally built in 1836 as a two story house, it received substantial additions in 1902, when a three story façade in a Flemish design was added. It is one of the few private residences in the area that was built with an elevator–which still works!

Since they purchased the building in 2021, Pam and Kent Marisa have worked hard to restore this beautiful building as a classic post-Victorian treasure. It is an increasingly popular venue for bridal showers, elegant dinners, and privately sponsored social events, both in the three story building and in its completely remodeled carriage house.

Please call the Library 724-627-9776 to RSVP your seat for the presentation. We Hope To See You There!
