EQT Washington & Greene Counties’ Covered Bridge Festival | September 18-19, 2021
The unofficial kick-off to the Fall festival season! Arts & crafts, home-style food, historical exhibits, unique entertainment & more – all amid beautiful scenery! Each covered bridge has a charm of its own that brings people back year after year. Free admission. 10am-5pm (may vary per site).
Lucas Oil Mega Pull | September 18, 2021
The premiere pulling series in the United States arrives at the Greene County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The highly popular Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League tours the country showcasing the most extreme vehicles and the most talented pulling drivers. Featuring four different vehicle classes of turbo chargers and alcohol-injected drag racing-type engines, it is a uniquely American competition that highlights the combination of sheer horsepower and driver skill.
Big Dave Vet Homecoming | September 18-19, 2021
You are invited to come out and join our extended racing family on this special weekend as we celebrate our motocross heritage and the memory of “Big Dave” with all of our friends – old and new. This event offers two days of unique racing and a wide selection of vet classes for all skill levels, as well as support classes for our younger racers. Spend Saturday Night bench racing over adult beverages. This is a laid-back event that is sure to bring back cool memories.
National Alpaca Farm Days | September 25-26, 2021
Discover Fiber, Food & Fun at Lippencott Alpacas! We open up our farm to the public for a free open house where you can discover “Life with Alpacas!”
Craft and fiber demonstrations will be scheduled throughout the day along with opportunities for close encounters with alpacas. The Farm Store will be open full of alpaca products including yarns, sweaters, gloves, vests, hats, stuffed animals and more! Hay rides, a hay play area and kids activities will keep everyone engaged for the afternoon!
The Ice Plant Fall Festival | September 25, 2021
Relax alongside the Mon River on Saturday, September 25 with The Ice Plant as they celebrate their 2nd annual Fall Festival Celebration. Live music will fill the area and the grounds will be full with craft and vendors. There will even be a fall dining menu in the restaurant!
Harvest Festival | October 9-10, 2021
The Greene County Historical Society is hosting their 50th annual Harvest Festival to celebrate the fall season with an array of activities including live entertainment, music, food, vendors, demonstrations and a children’s area.
Mystery Road Rally | October 16, 2021
Want a great way to explore some new (or old) sights in Greene County? Then, the Greene County Mystery Road Rally is for you! Join Greene County United Way on Saturday, October 16, as you follow the destination clues, overcome “Road Blocks” and try to be the first one at the finish line all while taking a scenic drive across our community.
Flashlight Drags | October 24, 2021
It’s street racing without the jail time! Flashlight Drags are back at the Greene County Airport on Sunday, October 24. Races are no prep, 1/8-mile heads up, grudge style matches.
