Lace up your boots and join Miss Rain Day 2025, Camryn Hawfield, for the Boots for Babes Walk on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

This fun-filled 3-mile walk along the Greene River Trail in Rices Landing will raise funds and collect boot donations for Growing Up Greene’s Winter Coat Drive, helping local children stay warm during the winter months.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with walkers hitting the trail at 8:30 a.m. Participants of all ages are encouraged to come out, enjoy a morning outdoors, and support a great cause. The cost is $25 per person, and the event will be held rain or shine.

In the weeks leading up to the walk, boot and monetary donations will also be accepted at local farmers markets and Sounds of Summer events. Whether walking, donating, or cheering on participants, the community is invited to help make a difference for children throughout Greene County.
