Waynesburg Holiday Open House kicks off the holiday shopping season in downtown Waynesburg on Friday, December 1st. The annual event is packed full of family-friendly activities including the tree lighting ceremony on the steps of the Greene County Courthouse at 6pm.
Welcome Christmas into downtown Waynesburg on Saturday, December 2nd with the Greene County Chamber of Commerce and their annual Christmas Parade! With marching bands, queens, firetrucks, floats, and community organizations, the parade is sure to delight all ages. The parade’s special guest, Santa Claus, will conclude the parade and usher in the Christmas season.
You are invited to Eva K. Bowlby Public Library for their Holiday Open House on Wednesday, December 6th. Enjoy music and refreshments, plus bring the little ones for a visit with Santa and special Christmas themed programming. Stuffed animals and friends are invited to stay the night for a Sleepover with Fetch!

The end of the semester brings holiday joy and a Christmas concert by the Music Program on Saturday, December 9th. This concert incorporates the Lamplighters Choirs and the Symphonic Band in a celebration of Christmas music.
Shop for the season at one of Greene County’s largest craft shows with an array of vendors from 10am-4pm on Sunday, December 10th at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
Join Eva K Bowlby Public Library on Friday, December 15 at 6:30pm for a night full of holiday activities. We’ll end the night with a showing of The Polar Express movie! Hot Chocolate and cookies will be provided to all who attend. Be sure to wear your pajamas…even the grown-ups!
