About

The Greene County Veterans Memorial Park in Waynesburg, PA, is a beautifully designed, tranquil space dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of all U.S. military veterans. Located at 900 Rolling Meadows Road—between the Greene County Tennis Courts and the Historical Society Museum—the park features a striking black granite centerpiece engraved with the emblems of each branch of the Armed Forces. Surrounding it are gray granite tablets etched with the names of over 900 veterans, along with engraved memorial bricks sponsored by families and organizations from both Greene County and beyond. The circular layout, granite benches, flagpole, and pavilion create a reflective, park-like setting that invites visitors to pause and remember. Originally inspired by the community's response to the Vietnam Veterans Traveling Memorial Wall, this permanent memorial stands as a lasting tribute to the courage and commitment of those who served.
