Join Center for Coalfield Justice at our 20th Annual DRYerson Festival on Saturday, June 27th from 1:00-4:00pm at Ryerson Station State Park Pavilion #3!

Each year, we gather in Greene County’s only state park to commemorate the destruction of Duke Lake by coal mining and share our vision for the future of the park. CCJ has played a major role in shaping Ryerson’s future since the lake was drained, from joining the legal fight for settlement payments and defending streams in and around the park from mining, to advocating for funding and community input on projects to revitalize the park.

That’s why we’re so excited for DCNR’s plans to overhaul the entire park, including a smaller pond and kayak run that will bring fishing and boating back to Ryerson after more than two decades!

There will be food, live music, tie-dye for the kids, screenings of the documentary short film Friends of Duke Lake, and conversations about the future of DRYerson – all completely free for attendees of all ages! Come be part of a turning point in Ryerson’s future!
