Celebrate the annual opening of the Greene County Historical Society Museum at Rebellion Weekend, happening May 2nd & 3rd, 2026 from 10 AM to 5 PM!

Step back in time with immersive reenactments and skilled demonstrators representing the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and the Civil War. Explore the museum with free tours showcasing updated work and brand-new exhibits.

Enjoy a full day of history and hands-on experiences, including blacksmith and gunsmith demonstrations, historic exhibits, and delicious food available on site—including brick oven concessions. Don’t miss a visit to the Wainey and all the other exciting activities planned throughout the weekend.

Admission is free, and donations at the gate are greatly appreciated to support the museum’s continued work.
