Car Cruises & Drags

The vivid red polished to perfection, the chrome glistening in the sun, the smell of car grease and good food mixing together, topped off by the sound of your favorite oldies music. That is the feeling weekends in September in Greene County will bring you! From drag racing to viewing many makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles, we have it all.

Remembering the Rain Day Boys

Every year during the Rain Day celebration, the Waynesburg community takes a moment to remember and honor the brave men of Company K, 110th Infantry, 28th Division who gave the ultimate sacrifice during World War I between July 28 and 29, 1918. The 18 young men are known as our “Rain Day Boys.”

Street Racing without the Jail Time

The Flashlight Drags – a family-oriented auto event open to all nostalgic, custom hot rod, street rod, muscle car, antique car, tuner car, electric or related vehicles – is once again bringing its popular style of “Old Fashioned / Heads-Up” drag racing back to the Greene County, as the airport will once again take on the look and feel of a classic drag strip.
